Space Exploration Center from Cēsis will be visiting Shopping Centre SĀGA in the beginning of March. Families will have the opportunity to participate in explorative and entertaining lessons and activities. Big and small ones will have a chance to test their skill and knowledge, act creatively and explore the space industry. Everyone will be able to find the Space Exploration Center in SC SĀGA by following the stickers on the floor, the rockets that will take to the space adventure.

SC SĀGA Space Exploration Center activities for families, big and small explorers, will take place on 1, 2, 8 and 9 March, from 12.00 to 18.00. Participation free of charge. A special event, Science Show with Kaspars Daugaviņš, will take place on 8 March. Ice hockey players and astronauts have some things in common, and Kaspars Daugaviņš will help find out what are they.

 

Children and families will have the opportunity to participate in various tasks and activities: build a rocket and go on a space mission. In a special test, children will feel like astronauts, test their reaction, speed and accuracy. Children will have a chance to become small engineers in the rocket workshop, to build their own mini-rocket and launch it to one of the planets in the Solar System. For a space mission to be successful, real space challenges will have to be overcome: a rocket will have to be controlled, space garbage evaded, and astronauts protected against solar radiation. These games develop logical thinking, reaction, and problem-solving skills.
